Entering the toddler stage... slowly...

Here are some recent videos and photos. Russell is getting so big. He is walking and running, babbling constantly, and we have had a couple of little toddler tantrums.
This is his morning face. (He wakes up like his mom!!! Too bad he can't drink coffee too...)

This is our Mr. Cool Guy...
He is almost 14 months. He has been saying "gog" now for a couple weeks in reference to Deitz and Minna, our dogs, and he says "Dada", "goka" (if thats how you spell baby language) for his golf clubs, "bye bye", and "nana" for banana. Those all came just shortly before "gog." At mealtime he will look at the picture of the Last Supper and say "Jesu" and also say thank you in sign language. He will also go to the door at the top of the stairs and knock while saying a G sound (for Grandma and Grandpa who live downstairs). We are working on saying "mama," although not a lot of luck yet unless he is crying or upset. He says multiple things in sign language too, like 'eat', 'please', 'thank you', 'more', and 'all done'.

We are teaching him body parts and trying to teach him objects like ball, blocks, trucks, cars, books, etc. This video unfortunately doesn't show much because my camera died, but here it is anyway... The other video of him dancing is pretty funny. The arm movement has been a standard now for about a month, but the whole body shake is something new as of yesterday, which is when I took the video. I especially like the slow down moves when the song slows down. Its cute!!!
